Our Client is currently searching for qualified Senior Nurse Educators for Med Surg units. Your functions will include the role of educator, facilitator, change agent, consultant, researcher and leader. The Nurse Educator is responsible for assessment, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs with medical surgical units that enhance performance, promote professional development or otherwise supports the mission and vision of the Department of Nursing (DON). Responsibilities also include classroom and clinical teaching with a BSN program or other affiliated partnerships with schools of nursing.
Requirements:

BSN, MSN preferred

5 years’ experience with Med Surg units

EXPERIENCE: Five or more years’ experience of progressively more responsible job related experience in Nursing, with at least two years of teaching experience in a BSN medical surgical program. Experience in a nursing advanced practice role (education, clinical or administrative) is preferred.

ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE: Approximately one year to gain familiarity with the Hospital environment, department routines and procedures, and the full range of job duties.

PROBLEM SOLVING: Job requires the highest level of problem solving. The work requires identifying and resolving very complex problems, such as developing innovative solutions based on extensive cross-functional knowledge of the entire the organization.
