Nursing Director, Telemetry Service Line.
Acute healthcare system with locations throughout the US offers growth opportunity for Nursing Director of an acute hospital of just over 200 beds.
Exciting opportunity for a professional nurse specializing in Telemetry Service Line, that includes telemetry, cardiac and critical care services. Nursing executive directs, controls and monitors the delivery of patient care and services on nursing unit. Monitors compliance with standards set by JCAHO, Federal and State agencies, the hospital and professional community. Stands as a leader and supervises patient care delivery systems in accordance with established standards of care and practice. Determines staffing requirements and develops departmental policies and procedures to comply with JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory bodies. Serves as an active member of Nursing Service Administration and as an active member of the hospital-wide performance improvement team. Should possess excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Management experience in hospital/health care environment, proven managerial skills. Requires a registered nurse with clinical management experience and Bachelors degree in nursing or health related field. Masters degree a plus.
Compensation; 100,000 base , plus 10% annual performance bonus, (pays out quarterly) and additional 5% for Department Directors, nice sign on and relocation package.
