This position is assigned to the new Interventional Spine Suite at the Kenmore Practice. The Registered Nurse performs a variety of moderately complex tasks which may include: Assisting in the provision of direct patient care; triaging telephone calls and providing clinical advice appropriately; coordinating the follow-up care of patients; providing practice management support and patient education. Acts as a clinical resource to support staff. Requires specialty specific and/or ambulatory care experience, strong telephone triaging skills and proficiency with some of the following: starting IV's, mixing and administering IV med., IM injections, nebulizer treatment, EKGs and suture removal etc.
Graduation from a state approved nursing program (bachelors preferred), and current state license required. 1 - 3 year's experience and current BCLS certification also required. |
