Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, the region's first Magnet hospital and Level I Trauma Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department.  In this position, you will develop, implement and evaluate plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinate and collaborate with multi disciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education: 
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. 
Experience: 
ED experience strongly preferred.  Acute care experience required.
Licensure: 
Currently licensed to practice as an RN by the Commonwealth of Virginia, or a recognized compact state.
Certifications:
CEN, TNCC preferred.
