The Nurse Manager has accountability for the quality of patient care, the performance of the nursing staff, the development and management of the budget, and the orientation, education for a 25 bed progressive care unit. The Manager further, contributes to nursing and the Medical Center through support of philosophy and objectives and education efforts.
Requirements:
Progressive care manager will have hospital management experience in critical care and Medsurg services in a complex hospital setting. The Manager will have an RN License (or eligible) in the state of Illinois and preferably a related Bachelor’s degree. The progressive care Nurse Manager will have proven leadership ability, excellent communication skills and can establish collaborative working relationships with patients, staff, physicians and other ancillary departments.
