ER Director
We are looking for an Emergency Room Director to provide the leadership and overall responsibility for two Emergency Rooms. A Level IV thirty two bed ER at our main campus and a six bed ER at our Specialty Campus. This position reports to our Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services and responsibilities include: strategic planning; budget oversight; assuring compliance with regulatory organizations; and implementation of standards of care and practices.

Qualified applicants will be a BSN, (MSN or MBA strongly preferred) RN with 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience, with a minimum of two years experience in a director role. Must have recent ED experience, strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to coach and mentor ED Manager and staff. Strong HR management skills are required.

About 120 employees, 77 FTEs, full time scheduler/admin support; ER Manager (which we’re also searching for, but have some internals we’re talking to). Physician group is contracted and we’re they’re only hospital. We use the TSystem for EMR; and it interfaces to Meditech 6.0.
