Under direction of the Vice-President for Medical Administration, coordinates organization-wide performance improvement program. Serves as a major resource person to Augusta Health nursing, ancillary departments, owned physician practices and medical staff in achieving their performance improvement objectives. Actively participates as a team leader or member in organization-wide performance improvement activities. Stays up to date with Joint Commission and other accrediting and/or regulatory agency standards. Works as a team member with department directors, clinical coordinators, and other QRM professionals; relates to various groups of professionals, especially physicians and Augusta Health management. Must have sufficient medical/clinical knowledge to analyze and abstract medical records for quality data. Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards and Medicare/Medicaid regulations essential.

Job Requirements:
Experience Requirements: Master's in nursing or Healthcare Administration with at least 5 years experience in acute care medical/surgical nursing, allied health professional or equivalent with experience in continuous accreditation readiness and Joint Commission survey activities required. CPHQ and experience in LEAN/Six Sigma desired.
