Care Companion for 1:1 private duty shifts in client's place of residence. Help clients to maintain independence and dignity in their home environment through personal care and assistance. Cares for the elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in patient’s home or other independent or assisted living environment by performing the following duties.
Required to comply with all applicable laws and regulation; and policies and procedures. Provides personal care for Clients as specifically assigned by the supervisor which may include, but is not limited to bathing, exercise, oral hygiene, feeding, skin care, meal preparation, hair care, changing bed linens, ambulation, transfer assistance, escort, medication management and shopping services.
High school diploma or GED. One (1) month related experience or training. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. CNA certification highly desirable, but not required. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
